Newport hip-hop stars Goldie Lookin Chain are to headline a concert at Joe Biden’s inauguration next week.
The popular Welsh hip-hop combo will be performing some of their greatest hits, including ‘You Knows I Loves You Baby’ and ‘Your Missus Is A Nutter’.
A spokeswoman for the Biden administration told WalesOnCraic:
“Lady Gaga and JLo have been begging to perform at the inauguration but we’ve always wanted to reach out to the world. We know how much you guys loves GLC so we’ve decided to book them to perform at the inauguration. We believe that they speak to the world much more clearly than Lady Gaga or JLo will.”
Biden’s inauguration has been overshadowed by the violence that took place in Washington last week. Security has been ramped up ahead of the event, which is scheduled to take place on 20th January.
GLC have not confirmed their presence at the inauguration, mainly because we just made all of this up.
