A South Wales family are throwing a street party this weekend to celebrate three whole weeks of working order for their Argos chest of drawers since its purchase.
The Browns from Llandeilo, bought their Seville Beechwood Effect 5 Drawer Chest three weeks ago today – and it’s still in working order.
Father-of-two Jim Brown told WalesOnCraic:
“We haven’t put anything in it or used it yet. I’ve just put it together and left it in the spare room. But by God, when I went in last night to see if it was still in one piece, I was still able to open and close all the drawers. Argos have really come on in leaps and bounds in the last few years – and we’ve decided to hold a street party to celebrate.”
The family are now considering purchasing a Seville Beechwood Effect Wardrobe for their spare room.
“We wouldn’t put anything in it. I’d just assemble it and leave it in the spare room in case anyone comes to the house and peeks into the spare room when they go for a piss.” said Jim.
