England progress to Quarter-Finals in traditional exciting fashion

England have progressed to the Quarter Finals of the 2019 Rugby World Cup in traditional exciting fashion.

The Saes automatically topped their group after their game against France was called off, thus awarding England a Quarter-Final place.

A spokesman for Team England said:

“Well obviously the lads gave it 100% and all credit to the French and I told the boys to out there and enjoy themselves and obviously we’ll take the positives from this game and move onto the next game and obviously all credit to the French; we knew they were going to be tough today and obviously it wasn’t a perfect game and obviously we’ll be looking back at the footage to see where we can improve and obviously I’ve told the lads to treat this as any other game and obviously we’ll take the positives and yeah.”

England will likely face Australia in the Quarter Final, should other results go the way as expected.

A spokeswoman for the World Cup organisers said:

“We have absoultely no regrets at all at hosting this tournament smack bang in the middle of typhoon season.”
