Labour leader Ed Miliband has guaranteed Welsh voters that Alpine pop will be delivered free of charge to every home in Wales if he gets into power.
Miliband is keen to gain as many Welsh votes as he can at this year’s General Election next month.
Speaking at a jumble sale in Tonypandy:
“We understand how important Alpine pop was to you Welsh people. Bollocks to Corona – if you wanted pop that was going to make your kids hyper and keep them up all night, Alpine was the shit you needed. That’s why I personally guarantee that we’ll have a free bottle of Alpine pop delivered to every house in Wales if you vote for me. If there’s anything else I can offer you in return for your vote, please let me know.”
Undecided voter Tom Dither told WalesOnCraic:
“Ed’s got my vote right there. How can you refuse an offer like that? Bollocks to Dave and his cronies – Ed’s my man. He understands the need of the masses.”
Voters will be able to choose from a variety of flavours, including Orangeade, Lemonade, Limeade, Cherryade and Dandelion and Burdock
