Paint manufacturer Dulux has launched an orange-coloured paint in honour of tanned Merthyr Roiders.
The new paint was launched at a press conference yesterday.
Chairman David Hardbrush told WalesOnCraic:
“We are always looking to reflect the people of the UK in our colours and Merthyr always gets a rough deal. We thought we’d put that right by launching a new colour to honour the roiders of the town. They seem to manage to get themselves a perfect glow of orange which hopefully we’ve managed to replicate in our new paint.”
Kyle Jones, an orange roider from Merthyr was impressed with the new paint. He told WalesOnCraic:
“Yeah, loves it butt. Might even use it instead of the spray tan like innit? It seems pretty durable so should last a night out and hopefully, the whole weekend.”
