Cyclists get to work half hour before motorists stuck behind cyclists

95% of cyclists get to work half an hour before motorists stuck behind cyclists, according to a new study.

The study has shown that cyclists think they are cycling on quiet roads when in fact, there is three miles of traffic is waiting behind them.

Professor Timmy CleverClogs, who overlooked the survey, told WalesOnCraic:

“We asked several hundred cyclists what they thought the traffic was like on Welsh roads and 95% of them told us that traffic was never a problem as the roads were quiet. We did a little more digging and went out on the road with these boys. What we found was that the traffic was actually behind them and that these lads were just ambling along without a care in the world. In some cases, the tailbacks stretched three miles or more. On a positive note, the cyclists were able to get to work half an hour quicker than if he’d been sat in the car behind a cyclist.”

One cyclist said:

“We have every right to cycle on the roads that motorists pay for.”
