Commuters in Newport were left speechless this morning when a BMW driver indicated on a roundabout.
Eyewitnesses say that the mysterious driver indicated to exit the roundabout, leaving other motorists confused and bewildered.
Mother-of-14 Kathi Slocooker told WalesOnCraic:
“We were all trying to second guess where this BMW driver was going because we usually have to read their minds to figure out where they are going. This one though – he indicated as he was coming around the roundabout and none of us knew whether he’d done it on accident or whether he was actually indicating to exit the roundabout. As it happened, the BMW left the roundabout at the indicated exit and we were all left speechless. Honestly – I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.”
Other eyewitnesses said that traffic came to an abrupt standstill after the event.
“Most of us were in shock we all had to stop our cars, get out, and talk about what had just happened. Then we all got back into our cars and carried on our merry way.”
Police called for calm following the incident but nobody heard them because they’d all left by that point.
