A Welsh TV production company is on the lookout for Z list celebrities and celebrity wannabes to feature in their new show ‘I’m Not A Celebrity, Get Me In There’.
The show, which will see people no one has ever heard of, living in the middle of a car park in Merthyr for two weeks. People will be voted IN, instead of out.
Show producer, Glenn Getty, told WalesOnCraic:
“We’re looking for people who’ve done sod all in their lives. We’re also looking for people who have been famous for 15 minutes and now find themselves out of favour with the general public. We want to incite hatred to these people from the public who have never met them. And best of all, we can say it’s all in the name of entertainment.”
Contestants will be expected to eat from local takeaways as part of their Bush Tucker trials.
Contestant hopeful Jordan JellyJuggs told WalesOnCraic:
“I’m definitely applying. I want everyone to love me and my big tits.”
Critics have pointed out that the show is far too similar to the ITV show, ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!’, which also features non-celebrity people.
