Government announces Cardiff Airport to get a third bus stop

cardiff airport

The Welsh Assembly Government has announced that Cardiff Airport is to be given the green light for a third bus stop.

It means that both of Cardiff Airport’s daily passengers will be given more choice about which bus stop to use to get on and off a bus.

A spokesman for the Welsh Assembly told WalesOnCraic:

“Not wanting to be outdone by Heathrow, the Welsh Assembly has yet again pushed the boundaries at Wales’s premier airport. This great expansion will give us an extra 50% capacity at our bus stops and will allow our flagship airport transfer bus to pull in at any stop out of the three. We believe that this will give passengers choice and will no doubt attract investors from all over the world. This Welsh Assembly government has a proud record of building bus lanes and cycle lanes and now we want to push on and add more bus stops to our proud portfolio. Ps. Please vote for me at the next local election. Thanks.”

One passenger who we spoke to at the airport said:

“Nah. I’m not going anywhere. I was supposed to be going to Barry but I got on the wrong bus. I’m just waiting for another one to take me back home.”
