Fans in support of Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd have called the police to tell them that it was the taxi driver.
Gruffudd was arrested live on TV last night for a crime he did or didn’t commit. Possibly.
One fan told WalesOnCraic:
“I sat down to watch this new TV drama and the next thing I know, Ioan’s being carted off by the police. I felt really sorry for him. He gets himself into all kinds of scrapes that are no fault of his own – last time I saw him, he was helping people out of the water after Titanic had gone down. He’s such a modest lad too. He’s always on Twitter and he never mentions all these things. He just gets on with life. After watching last night’s episode, we’re convinced that it was the taxi driver. He had far too much air time to be easily dismissed.”
Gruffudd responded to interview requests by telling the media:
“Is there anyone alive out there? Can anyone hear me?”
