A man from Merthyr who ordered an online escort got the fright of his life when a Ford Cortina was delivered.
Bryn ‘JellyBelly’ NoMates took delivery of his Cortina yesterday.
He told WalesOnCraic:
“I feel like I’m in some kind of 1970s Christmas cracker joke. It was New Year’s Eve and I hadn’t had any fun over Christmas whatsoever. I was browsing Facebook and an advert popped up for online escorts. Said that they could deliver next day and that she would provide me with hours of fun. So yesterday morning, a big lorry pulled up with a Ford Cortina on the back. I was so shocked that I didn’t say anything to the fella. Now it’s just sat there on my drive, looking pretty.”
Escorts R Us, who provided the car said:
“We reserve the right to provide a replacement vehicle should be we out of escorts. Sadly, this is just a sad attempt to use a crappy joke as a so-called spoof news story. You should be ashamed. Good day to you, sir.”
