Italy v Wales Second Half To Be Screened Every Sunday Teatime Instead of Songs of Praise

The second half of the Six Nations game between Italy and Wales will be shown every Sunday teatime for the next two years. It will replace the usual Songs of Praise show.

Wales beat the Italians by 61 points to 20, in what has been described as ‘the best half of rugby since the last one.’

Wales rugby fan Darren LardArse told WalesOnCraic:

“I taped the game and personally delivered it to the head of telly down the pub last night. He assured me that he’ll put the game on instead of Songs of Praise for the next two years. I’ve watched it five times this morning and I haven’t even got out of bed yet. Hopefully the kids watching it while they’re having their tea will be inspired.”

Wales ultimately lost out on the Six Nations title after Scotland decided to go for the Wooden Spoon instead of putting up a fight. England also fell short as France put up a spirited fight at Twickenham.

“It was hell of an afternoon.” said LardArse. “My wife went downstairs this morning and immediately came back upstairs after seeing the state of the living room and the kitchen. We may have to go out for a carvery as we’ve not got any clean dishes left.”

Wales take on England again at this year’s World Cup in September. Welsh players have promised the same score against England as the one they put on Italy yesterday.
